Spring Daze: Held the first Saturday in May, this annual event is sponsored by the City Beautification Committee. The Spring Daze festival brings vendors offering a variety of plants, flowers, lawn & garden accessories, arts & crafts and home decor items which range from handmade outdoor furniture to jewelry. Memorial Day Parade & Celebration: For more than 27 years Thomasville has hosted a Memorial Day Parade and Celebration. It has become the largest such event in the Southeastern United States. Festivities typically include a parade, members of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, military bands, paratroopers, Blackhawk helicopters, Vietnam era helicopters, participants from all branches of the armed forces, a keynote address from a high national-ranking military official, free hot dogs, drinks and much more. Everybody’s Day Festival: Always held the last Saturday in September, the Everybody’s Day Festival is more than 100 years old! The street festival hosts over 200 arts & craft vendors, food vendors, a children’s area with games, rides and special appearances also they have unique events and musical entertainment. Rail Fan Day: This annual event is held the first Saturday in November honoring the rail heritage in Thomasville as well as the rail fans that enjoy photographing the wide array and high volume of trains that pass through Thomasville. The event typically features professional speakers talking about photographing trains, how to upload the Advanced Train Control System, Norfolk Southern dispatchers, and the main event is the unveiling of the following year’s Train Calendar with door prizes given as well as prizes awarded to those who’s photos were chosen for the calendar.

Multicultural Event: Held each fall celebrating a different culture each year. Dates vary.
Thomasville Farmers Market: Open Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm; Open Tuesdays from 9 am to 1 pm. Thomasville Farmers Market is a 100% producers only market limited to certified growers who live within Davidson County or the counties of Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph and Rowan counties.
